MAKING IT PERSONAL

Meeting in smaller groups to connect, build friendships and grow together.

What are SaLT groups?

SALT GROUP: STANDS FOR “SERVING AND LEARNING TOGETHER.”

A smaller group of people gathering on a regular basis for the purpose of growing with one another, caring for one another, serving one another, and reaching the other. SaLT groups are the place where you find spiritual growth happens best. This is where practical needs are met and meaningful relationships are built.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We believe life change happens best in small groups. People can get to know each other better in a smaller gathering. Memories are made, friendships are forged, and community is celebrated in small groups. Now is a great time to find one for you!

Though each group looks different, you will find some common ground between all of them: prayer, Bible study & discussion, fellowship, worship, and more. Some groups host a shared meal, but don’t feel obligated to bring anything your first time (just give the leader a heads up of how many are coming).

You can choose a group by its location, meeting time, or both. Whatever makes you most comfortable, or fits your schedule and needs. Our groups are made up of a variety of ages and seasons of life. Whatever stage of life you’re in, you’ll be sure to find a group to share your journey.

Sure! Keep trying until you find one that fits!

Northbrook does not keep an "attendance sheet" for SaLT Groups. So joining is not an official process. It is all organic. So try a few out. Get to know one another. Ask God to open the door to deep community. If you need suggestions, feel free to call the church office and we can let you know about the different group options. Each member of Northbrook makes the covenant commitment to participate in a small group setting.

Each SaLT Group takes care of its own childcare. There is no childcare provided by the church during SaLT Group gatherings.
