LOCAL AND WORLD MISSIONS
SAYING 'NO' TO 'GO' IS AN ISSUE OF OBEDIENCE.
World missions is one of Northbrook’s six core values. We define missions as the call of God to every Christ-follower to be involved in the great commission from Matthew 28:18-20: go in Jesus’ authority and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey Jesus’ commands. In valuing world missions, every Northbrooker is encouraged and challenged to pray, give, and go. Pray for our missionaries and personal mission opportunities, give of our time and resources to support missionaries and efforts, and go ourselves to places in our world that need to hear the gospel and see a church planted.
WORLD MISSIONS
Currently, Northbrook supports missionaries and church plants around the world. We partner with individuals and organizations such as the International Mission Board, the North American Mission Board, Kontaktmission, our Church Planting Network, and other sending agencies to send believers into places where people have little to no access to the gospel.
LOCAL MISSIONS
Northbrook is involved locally and domestically in supporting church planting efforts and mission projects. We have sent families into Vermont and Utah to spread the Gospel through church planting. Locally we engage in missions through Helping Hand of Humboldt and other community outreach efforts. Join in where God is moving and use your gifts for His Kingdom.
