Summer Break!

This time of year is a love/hate thing for me. I love the feel of a break. And taking some is certainly needed. But I hate it when those breaks include missing worshipping together at the brook. Most of the hate part is just my perception I know. We have a smaller congregation and a few families out is always noticeable. And it is unrealistic to expect everyone to schedule their vacations, business commitments, sports obligations around Sundays. Or is it? At the risk of sounding legalistic, check your pattern of summer break. Much of our schedule adjusts for the summer, but does our corporate gathering for worship take on a different priority as well?
