Thanks Sue and Karen for joining me in worship in a different way a few weeks ago. But I still would rather gather with you and worship the splendor of His holiness together!

Okay, so it took a couple of weeks for me to leave a comment, but...Snow Day Sunday was extremely weird for the Welch household. I mean, we have skipped Sundays, but this time Sunday skipped us. Strange how, in just 6 years, gathering at Northbrook is just natural. Watching television and being lazy was unnatural, because I felt I was supposed to be at church. I missed it! But, then again, I did stop and pause and drink in God's creation. Funny how worship can sneak up on you.

Above I had written: I was pondering how EVEN the snow makes everything seem.

It sure is beautiful today.

I was pondering how \\"even\\" the snow makes everything seem. Everything is covered and it all looks so clean and bright. As I look over the pictures everyone is posting at the Sun, on FB, I marvel and think \\"wow, it looks just like my neighborhood\\".

I can\\\'t tell the difference, everything looks the same, and it reminded me that when God sees His children, He doesn\\\'t see how big our homes, how much stuff we have in them, what cars we drive, He peers into our hearts.

Oh how thankful I am that Jesus blankets us in His Holiness and makes us all clean, white as snow.
