Dancing With the Kids

“I have this friend” who was telling me about being at a Valentine’s church event with his wife. Both of his kids were there with dates as well. There was a special moment when he realized that his whole family was on the dance floor at the same time. That would not have happened when my friend was a kid. His parents were way too old and his church not quite that “open.” But he and this church have obviously done something right if kids can come to a church event where their parents are and participate freely and not feel at all awkward or inhibited. Not sure I’ll know the feeling. I’m a pastor and can’t dance anyway. But you never know.

  2. Roger Says:

So are you admitting that white men can’t dance?

  3. chuck maxwell Says:

No. Just admitting that this one is challenged in that area! But I would be happy for you to teach some of us if you’d like.
