Anniversary #27

It was a record low 2 degrees on this day in 1982. Ann and I were married on that cold night in Humboldt, TN. No one went out to decorate my van for us to drive away in. I think they even threw the bird seed on the carpet in the church! As I reflect on our marraige, the predictable scriptures come to mind. Ann is certianly the poster wife for Proverbs 31. She is the example wife of the gospel analogy in Ephesians 5. But this year I think of John 15:13, No one has greater love than this, that someone would lay down his life for his friends. I have no doubt that she would do that for me. She is quite a woman, quite a mom, quite a wife.
