A Quiet Hug

Earlier this week I watched a brother in Christ put his arms around a hurting, wandering, self-centered man on the fringe of self-destruction, and quietly say, “I love you.” And this was after my friend had been criticized unjustly for saying the truth about this man’s condition. It was a powerful expression of the love of Christ. “But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us!” (Romans 5:8)
